Description
The cottage is located on a private land in the East
Czech Region, near Nachod, following the river Metuje, right in the heart of
the beautiful Peklo Valley. This protected area is perfect for relaxation and
for active holiday as well. Ideal place for individuals, small groups, families
with children, avid cyclists, tourists or fishermen.
On a hot day one can cool down in the river Metuje,
flowing only 10 metres away from the cottage property. The cottage offers
garden sitting area, barbeque and possibility to light up an open fire. During
cooler days the cottage offers a protected deck with a barbeque. The upstairs
private balcony gives stunning view to the river and the surroundings. The bike
path next to the property serves also as the access road to the property,
suitable for cars, and offering a comfortable connection to the many
interesting spots in the nearby for pedestrians, cyclists and in-line skaters.
Approximately 300 metres in the direction towards Nachod is a country-style
kiosk Ostrovy, the meeting place for evening country music jam sessions and the
home to the traditional summer country music festival (early July each year).
In the opposite direction, approximately 600 metres from the cottage, is a
stylish old traditional pub Peklo where one can sample the fantastic local
special dishes of the region.
